Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Posterior Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”) for Mávip, a Mac app that places phone calls through your iPhone on your behalf. Using Mávip or buying a license means you accept them. Contact: mavip-support@posterior.xyz.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older with legal capacity to purchase. One person per license unless you buy for a team.

3. License

• A 14-day trial runs on your own AI provider key.
• A Pro license is a one-time purchase for up to 3 Macs you own. Activate, move, or deactivate seats in the app.
• Subscriptions (where offered) bill recurring until cancelled and entitle the same app use while paid up, checked automatically — no login needed.
• No resale, sharing outside your household/team seats, or circumventing seat limits.

4. Acceptable use

• One call at a time, from your own number, for your own legitimate errands.
• No bulk dialing, no spoofing, no impersonation. The agent identifies itself as AI; do not present its output as a human.
• You are responsible for consent and call-recording laws where you and the other party are located.
• No reverse engineering the app to evade licensing, no abuse of our license API.

We may revoke licenses for abuse, with a pro-rata refund where required by law.

5. Billing and refunds

• Payments are processed by our merchants of record, Dodo Payments and Paddle, who handle tax, VAT, receipts, and chargebacks. Their terms also apply.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled via the merchant's customer portal or by emailing support. You keep access until the paid period ends.
• Refunds follow the merchant's policy; email support within 14 days of purchase and we will help.

6. AI disclaimer

Calls are handled by third-party AI (Google Gemini or OpenAI) using your key or our managed service. AI can misunderstand, misstate, or fail. Verify important outcomes yourself. Mávip is a utility, not professional advice.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs data handling and is part of these terms.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mávip is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, missed appointments, or call outcomes. Total liability is capped at what you paid in the prior 12 months.

9. Changes and termination

We may modify the service or these terms with reasonable notice; material changes by email or site notice. We may suspend for violations. IP, liability, and indemnity sections survive termination.

10. Law

Governed by the laws of India. Disputes go first to good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration in India.
