Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Mávip is a Mac app developed and operated by Posterior Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”). Contact: mavip-support@posterior.xyz. By using Mávip or this site you agree to this policy.

2. What we collect

  • License checks. When you activate or validate, the app sends your license key and a machine identifier. We store the key, activation instances, and check history to enforce seat limits.
  • Purchase email. Our merchants of record (Dodo Payments, Paddle) share your email and order details so we can issue licenses and send receipts. We never see or store card numbers.
  • Website analytics. Privacy-respecting pageviews (no cross-site tracking, no ad profiles).
  • Support mail. Whatever you send to support, kept only to resolve your issue.

3. What stays on your Mac

  • Call audio. Goes straight from your Mac to your AI provider (Gemini or OpenAI, using your key). Our servers never receive or record it.
  • Transcripts and recordings. Stored locally on your Mac unless you share them.
  • Provider API keys. Stored in your Mac Keychain. We never see them.

4. Third parties

  • AI providers you choose (Google Gemini, OpenAI) — governed by their policies.
  • Dodo Payments / Paddle — billing, tax, receipts; see their privacy policies.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and delivery for this site and our license API.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your calls or transcripts to train models.

5. Retention and deletion

License records persist while your license is active and for tax records after. Deactivating a Mac removes that instance promptly. To delete your license data, email support from your purchase address; we complete deletion within 30 days.

6. Security

TLS in transit, encrypted storage, minimal collection. No internet transmission method is perfectly secure, but we keep the sensitive parts (audio, keys, transcripts) off our servers entirely.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email support and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Mávip is for users 18 and older who can enter into a purchase. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
